For Brickell Families Who Want Real Ballet Training, Not Just an Activity
With a full family calendar, an after-school class has to justify the space it takes. A parent weighing that decision usually wants to know one thing first: will my child actually learn ballet here, or just fill an hour?

Where we are, generally
Brickell is northeast of the studio, near downtown and the bay. Coral Gables lies generally southwest, with Coral Way and US-1/South Dixie Highway among the broad roads in that direction.

What a Brickell family may be weighing
The decision, and how we approach it
Our answer is placement and progression. Students are placed by faculty after a trial, corrected individually, and moved forward when they are ready, so the hour has a purpose.
Adults who danced earlier in life, or never have, are welcome too. Current adult ballet options are listed on the class schedule, and private lessons are available for focused goals.

Frequently asked
- How do I know my child is progressing, not just attending?
- Students are placed by faculty after a trial and receive individual corrections in class. Faculty share feedback with families and welcome conversations about progress and the most constructive next step.
- I danced as a kid and live in Brickell. Is there something for me?
- Yes. Adult ballet welcomes complete beginners and returning dancers. Current adult class days and times are on the class schedule, and you can request a trial class just as a child would.
- Do you have a location in Brickell?
- No. Miami Royal Ballet & Dance has one studio, at 300 Altara Ave Ste 1415, Coral Gables, FL 33146. Brickell families travel southwest to reach us.
- Does requesting a trial reserve a spot?
- No. The request begins the placement conversation. A studio team member will contact you with the most appropriate available option and next steps.
The first step is a trial class
Bring your Brickell dancer for a trial class.
Tell us about your dancer. We will contact you with the most appropriate available option, and after the trial our faculty recommends placement. Submitting a request does not reserve a class.
