2026–2027 Dance Season Enrollment Is Open, Request a Trial Class
Getting Started

New Student Guide

Everything you need to know before your first class at Miami Royal Ballet & Dance in Coral Gables.

The Process, Step by Step

1

Request a Trial Class

The first step for all new students is submitting a trial class request. Use the form on our Trial Class page, or call us at (305) 396-8839.

Share your dancer's name, age, any prior dance experience, interests, and preferred schedule. The more detail you provide, the better we can advise on the right starting point.

Submitting the form does not automatically confirm a class. Our team reviews each request and contacts you with the most appropriate available option.

2

Receive Placement Guidance

Our team will contact you, usually by email or phone, to recommend an appropriate class and available time. We consider age, experience, goals, schedule, and current class availability.

For adults, we will advise whether the morning or evening class is the better starting point based on your goals and experience.

For children, we will recommend a level, Early Ballet, Elementary Ballet, or another class, based on age and current ability.

3

Attend the Trial Class

Your dancer participates in a regular class alongside enrolled students. Our faculty observe technique, readiness, and comfort level to confirm the placement recommendation.

Please arrive a few minutes early for your first visit. We are located at 300 Altara Avenue, Suite 1415, Coral Gables, FL 33146.

Bring appropriate dancewear and footwear for the class type. See attire guidance below.

4

Receive Confirmation and Register

After the trial class, our team will confirm the recommended class and provide all enrollment details, including tuition information, calendar dates, and studio policies.

Registration for confirmed students is completed through our Jackrabbit Parent Portal. Our team will send you the appropriate registration link once placement is confirmed.

Do not register through Jackrabbit before receiving placement confirmation from our team.
