For the Dancer Who Is Ready for a Serious Commitment
Miami Royal Ballet's Pre-Company and Company Team programs are for students who have demonstrated the technical foundation, the discipline, and the commitment to train at a more intensive level than the general program provides.
These are not recreational programs with a competition attached. They are demanding, structured training tracks that require consistent work, real family investment, and a genuine drive to become a better dancer. Not just to participate in a competition.
For the right student, this program represents the highest level of training Miami Royal Ballet offers and the most direct path toward competitive results, stage performance, and the skills of a professional-track dancer.
Building toward company-level training
More intensive training than general classes. Guided toward competition and performance readiness. Entry point toward the Company Team pathway.
The full competition & performance program
The most intensive track at Miami Royal Ballet. Invitation by faculty. Full participation in the competition and performance season including regional and national events.
Daytime pre-professional training
Pre-Pro / Professional Ballet (Mon & Wed 10:30 AM–12:00 PM) and Variations & Repertoire (Mon & Wed 12:00–1:00 PM) for students with flexible daytime schedules.
Training at Every Level of the Art

Intensive Classical Technique
More hours, more depth, higher standards. Pre-professional students train more frequently and at greater technical demand than the general program.

Classical Variations & Repertoire
Individual and group coaching in the classical repertoire: technically, interpretively, and performatively, to competition and audition standard.

Competition Preparation
Intensive, specific, results-oriented preparation for regional and national competitions. Students learn to perform under the real pressure of a competitive environment.
Performance Opportunities
Year-end productions, guest performances, and company appearances. Real stages, real audiences.
Artistry & Stage Presence
Technique is the floor. Artistry, musicality, and presence: what separates good from great. That is what this program builds.
Company Team Pathway
The most committed and advanced students may be invited to the Company Team, the highest training track at Miami Royal Ballet.

Achievement That Reflects the Work
Miami Royal Ballet's Company Team has earned recognition at regional and national competitions. These results are the outcome of consistent, serious training and the standards our faculty demand.
Competition success is meaningful as evidence of training quality, not as the sole purpose of the program. The dancers who achieve these results develop artistry, discipline, and resilience that carry far beyond any competition stage.
